‘Sivagitimala is a book of twenty Ashtapadis on lilas of Ekamreswara and Kamakshi, composed by Jagadguru Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati, 62nd Sankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham. This work of spontaneous outpourings of bhakti of the venerated author follows the same lines as the famous ‘Gita Govindam’, a composition of Ashtapadis on Radha-Krishna by Jayadeva.
